추석을 앞두고 정부와 식품업계가 손잡고 라면·만두 등 가공식품 4,765개 품목을 최대 64% 할인 판매하기로 했다.
농림축산식품부는 8일 주요 식품기업 관계자들과 간담회를 열어 추석 물가 안정 방안과 함께 K-푸드 수출 확대 전략을 논의했다며 이 같이 밝혔다.
농식품부는 명절을 맞아 수요가 늘어나는 가공식품과 선물세트를 중심으로 할인 행사를 확대하는 한편 성수기 물량 공급에 차질이 없도록 관리해달라고 업계에 요청했다.
이에 CJ제일제당,농심,삼양식품,오뚜기,대상 등 20개 식품기업은 이달 중 라면과 면류,만두,식용유,강원 랜드 vip 후기간편식 등 27개 품목군에 걸쳐 제품 4,765개를 할인 판매한다.
정부는 식품기업의 원가 부담을 덜어주기 위해 할당관세 적용과 원료 구매자금 지원,규제 개선 등도 함께 추진할 방침이다.
정부와 식품업계는 이날 간담회에서 현지 맞춤형 제품을 개발하고 글로벌 유통망을 넓히는 한편,한류와 연계한 마케팅을 통해 해외 시장 공략을 강화하기로 했다.
농식품부 관계자는 "식품업계와 지속적으로 소통해 민생 물가 안정과 K-푸드 수출 확대를 함께 추진하겠다"고 말했다.
